Damn Error

I decided it was time for a reformat today, pc was clogged up because my folks had to use it while theres was at the repair store, so i got it back full of crap.

I reformatted and reinstalled xp, net frameworks ect

i downloaded conquer from download.com and installed

i manually downloaded all the patches from the main website and manually installed them, then this happened when i went to run

i had my friend send me his c3_core_dll file from his working version of conquer, tried to paste that over the one i got from the download and same error popped up, can anyone shed any light on my problem because ive not had my daily pks and it makes me grouchy >< j/k:P

Try reinstall the game!

ive tried that on several occasions but nothing worked

:S No idea maybe its in the patch try running it with cotobo it should work

cotobo doesnt work for me im afraid, i search itemtype.dat using hex workshop and it comes up with no matches.

i also downloaded conq via bit torrent and from megaupload, neither worked

edit: also downloaded the fixed version of cotobo by Calagan, that got me as far as the open screen before i got the same c3_core_dll.dll thing

ive upgraded to net frameworks 3.0, im gonna try seeing if i need to download some runtimes or somethin

Maybe your conquer.exe file is corrupt.

Patch 4334 for FTP site ftp://64.151.85.204/zf/ has the last conquer.exe change, as well as the last C3_CORE_DLL.dll change.

Also when you downloaded from download.com did you check the version.dat file to see what version you had installed and patched on up from there.

i downloaded it at 10am today morning, right after reformatting my pc

edit: tried the 4334 patch from that site a1, nothing happening though, still got the error

When you first installed Conquer1207.exe look in the Conquer2.0 folder for a file named version.dat open it with notepad.
It will tell you what version that was installed by Conquer1207.exe from download.com.
Then goto the FTP site ftp://64.151.85.204/zf/ and download only the patches that you need to get the fresh installed version up to 4339.
