How to handle a rb

When you see a rb pking, you think usually about the guard right? especially when rbs get to 105 and have gold guard, they are usually invincible.

A little trick that works for me is to poison the guard before going after the pker, the poison delays the guards lightning, giving you enough time to land a fb or rapid on the pker, however

sometimes it does fail and 9/10 you die because gold guard has a ridiculously high Matk

feel free to flame away and call me a noob or w/e just sharing something that works for me

i use this tactic too ^^

Give ppl permission to flame you and they will. A lot of people didnt know this so I think it was worth contributing, good job:)

however, even at 120+ a gold guard can hit a player for 1k+ unless they have super ears with +2/+3 ect

a un reborn trojan at 125 without hp enchant has around the 4k hp mark, by time the person could escape from a gold guard, they would have died, unless your either next to a portal or you can scroll and pot fast

ive seen even 130 rbs be pked by lv 110s using gold guards, and i once saw a lv 122 pked by a silver guard, player ability does play a major role in pks, but 9/10 the guard is relied on, and it brings home the bacon

edit: "nutorius market prices on poison blades seem to be falling as of late, not sure if its due to people db rbing and relying on lotto for there rbs, also soc prices are falling aswell
on pyramid for a unique 2soc poisonblade its around 2.5-3kk
for a 2soc elite its around 10kk
for a 2soc super only 20-30kk

the only other server i play hardcore is jupiter, but i mostly rely on Duel there :)

Hmm I don't have a poison blade yet and tro isn't rb so can't do poison zap anyway. I'll have to remember this for later, should be useful. :D

i chose 105 as thats when you can level your silver guard to gold,

gold guard can kill other 105s who arent well geared up with mdef in 2-3 lightnings

for a 120 its about 3-5 depending, but each time guards lightning hits you are momentarily stunned, which can allow the pker to intervene

Just get good pair of earrings. -_-
