"name already in use error"

Well iam almost done with the server but i got still one error. If i want to create a char it always says "name already in use" oO .

Use search before you want to post something.. there is atopic about this search it..

I used the search but didnt find something. In Shaiya Server Instructions i only found 2 posts about it .

No one has a idea? I installed the server again still the same problem. I installed the Server again but didnt help.

This is because you use a version of SQL that does not read out the command change to datavar. My best bet is to use the UK SQL (google and you get there). This will support all SQL commands and solves the problem. I had this when i had a dutch SQL 3 years ago.

Here you go, the working SQL 2005 Express, i tend to use this more then 2008 for starting private servers due to easy maintenance. When you get a bit more skilled, use SQL 2008.

Ty i noticed that something is missing in my Database . The Part OMGGameWeb.

EDIT: Hmm everytime i press Download i get not to the download but to commercials O.O .

OMGGameWeb is not needed, its mainly used to link old webscripts. My server is running without it, totally left it out, its redundant data. Only (sort of) a mirror of the PS_UserData.

Ok and the problem with the commercials ? ^^ Maybe you can upload it on megaupload?
