hey guyz i wanna learn how to conecte in navicat when i press localhost a message say : 1405-access danied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password) yes;)

download appserv([Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...])
install..

then u should be fine..

also make sure u write the right pass for localhost or that ur ports are open, else u wont be able to connect to localhost sometimes.

But u need appserv also.

You should install MySQL 5.5 instead. =]
I use MySQL and I think it's a lot better ^^,

appserv includes mysql :facepalm:

no no no, the MySQL 5.5 software is different =o
You can set it up when you install it so that it can handle 2000 concurrent connections. AppSperv can't do that.

Yea, that's the main reason I don't like appserver at all.
