Moonbox quest...

Alright, I've confirmed my pattern theory for token drops on moonbox quest. works 90% of the time.

Step1: Have a high level character...
Step2: Have the itemtype.dat edit that shows token names.(If you do not have, there is one pinned on the hacks/tools forums)
Step3: The Pattern:

NOTE: You need to be the only one killing monsters in the tactic.

First off, Its nothing but a going back and forth pattern. Start off where you get teleported and go strait accross to the left, killing all monsters in your path. Then go up to the next level and go right. then go up and go to left edge. Repeat the back and forth process until you get your first token.
Ok, past the hard part, the next part is the easiest: Continue doing this back and forth message. As I've found out, the token always appears ABOVE the previous one. So if you find the first in 4th row of going back and forth, the next would be in 5th and 6th and so on. It's a very simple method, but I haven't seen it posted anywhere, and it saves a hell of alot of time when doing mb quest.

And also, when you reach the top just go back to the bottom and start over.

Download the minimap edit there, very useful. My attachment just added bars to the moonbox quest map for easy eye follow >.> Just put it over the existing one in the minimaps folder.

EDIT: the token will never be in a monster that you see spawn beside you.

Has worked for me so far. I usually get 3-4 tokens or so jut killing all on my way up like this... Saves alot of time since I get 15-20 tokens per tactic now...

I tested, and its definetly not 90% of the time, its about 50:50 -.-

Kool , Also I didnt know monster that spawn near you doesn't drop token .

And just bot there with SV lvl 130 tro full 1soc , 2 Hits toughhorn , 30 min and your inventory is full .

Yeah spawned ones near you wont ever drop, one bad thing a bot would miss unless you kill fast enough to be in a different area before they respawn.

And not all of us have a 130 trojan lying around :rolleyes:

and @ swords, just make sure you dont miss any on your way up... It technically works 100% of the time, since it starts over at beginning, but it usually spawns within 2 rows of monsters up. Saves a ton of time unless your really lucky with randomly killing them... :)

Sounds cool.

However I gave it kinda up and went to MZ botting b/c I always end up in 5 quests never getting into the 6ths.

Just takes time :)

Try getting 10+ in each tactic and trade to noob outside, while keeping 6 different ones on you. Makes for much easier navigating.

The second one. Just a simple back and forth pattern. The token spawns usually near the previous one withen 2 rows of monsters, but is always north of previous spawn, but the spawn loops back at the bottom also. The back and forth just keeps you from missing any on the way up :rolleyes:
And my map just helps your eyes stay level a little easier... I get lost and mixed up where I was before without it. :D

So let me clarify, you have to go back and forth UNTIL you get a token? or go through one and go up to the next level of bars?

Yes... and once you get the first token, just repeat processes, starting over at the beginning once you reach the top, and thats it... Seems so simple, but I've found I gained tokens much much faster this way. Since they're usually close by up, it makes it faster, but always know not to attack ones that just spawn. The token won't be inside a spawn monster, its sent to one monster after a previous one is found.

Only works when alone in tactic though, as someone else could just through you off... so kill botters if youw ant to be alone :rolleyes:
