Hiding Processes

I can't leave my guys in tg anymore since my parents Ctrl/alt/delete to see if conquer is running as a processes. I've have used the double desktop thing for awhile but now i need something that will hide co from windows task manager. Any got an idea how i can do that?

rename the .exe

so change conquer.exe to something else?

I've tried that but it doesn't fully hid CO. if you use task manager co shows up in processes

ah, you mean that, then find the seed file, and change the name to like sysreq.exe or something

btw, changing the shortcut on ur desktop doesn't work, find where it is originally and change THAT file

so ur parent are smart :D

into sth like toolset.exe or sth like that

I tried changing the exe conquer but when i click play it says can not find conquer.exe

Make a shortcut to the conquer file that you changed the name too.
Then click properties for the shortcut you made.
Look at target, add blacknull to end. will look like this>
"D:\Conquer 2.0\Conquer.exe" blacknull
Click apply then close. This also gets rid of auto update too.
So you'll have to manually update yourself. By going to TQ's FTP site>

And downloading patch's as they come out. There SFX files, so you can right click and extract them to a folder first, to see what there updating. When you want to update just take all those folders and files and copy over to your Conquer2.0 folder.
