I bought a Dragonhawk hatchling from the cross faction AH in Gadget. After I grabbed it in the Exodar I obviously put it out.
Confirming it soulbound.
I went and flew somwhere, withdrawing my pet back into my inventory.
Eventually I logged out regulerly and hopped back on some time later.
It seems that the Pet was not soulbound even after I clicked the past confirmation.
So this should let you use it, get bored, sell it...*shrug*
Pretty useless but I found it interesting.
