Vista and CO?

First off, I'm not putting this on the official Conquer forums help because they are ignorant bastards who will just tell me "works here." (there is already a post by some other dude) Well I just got vista installed on my computer and I install Conquer fine but when it autopatches, it sometimes does it like 5 times with the same patching over and over. By the time that is finished, it goes past that screen then just closes. I've already tried using the patches from the website that you download manually and I have also tried changing my resolution.(didn't think changing resolution would have to do with it but sometimes it doesn't work)

So yeah...could someone help me get this working?

All i can recommend is to do all of the manual patches, then use my "version change" by changing the version.dat to 9999. That way it will not auto-update, and it will already be updated from the manual patches anyway.

I uninstalled then reinstalled like 5 times and only now, it's deciding to work. Sorry for wasting time.
