socket help

I was out for long time. Everything has change so much. I never learn how to socket items in twin city. There was a section Socket theories, which I don’t see anymore. I try searching but I only found 3 threads from 2005. Can anyone point me in right direction so I can find a link that teaches me how to make sock or improve my chance of getting socket.

Please help. I think I am the only one in server that don’t know, I have try many different ways, no luck so far. I have use allot of meteorscrolls but no luck

There is no such thing is improving your luck. The only way to improve your luck is just using up more meteor scrolls.

When I was playing CO I was used to make a lot of sockets. (I was making like 4-5 socs in less of 1 hourwith 500 mets about). But this was long time ago before TQ lowered drop, gems, and sock rates, before Potency and loto.

But all I can tell you, its that it was about the character you were using to spam. Some people will say I'm wrong, but I know I'm right. During the whole time i was making socks, i made all of them with the same char. (if I remember it was a lvl 37 trojan..). I spammed thousands of mets with my others chars, but never made any socks. But when I spammed 500 mets with that troj lvl 37, I always made 4-5 socks in a row, and sometimes double socks.
I was also used to spam when there was few people on the server, most of time it was on sunday morning, near 11am european hour (at this hour and day, americans people were sleeping and not all europeans were logged.) Well I think spamming when there was few ppl on server helped, cuz I always made my socks this day and at this hour. I tried to spam another day only one time, but failed..
Im not sure about the day or time u should spam, but I'm 100% sure about your character's ability to make socs. Maybe it can help you, but I've choosen that lvl 37 troj because i was finding lot of gems with it in mines.

Thats all I can tell you. But I think now it useless to spam, because when Potency and Cps came out, I never made socks anymore, cuz TQ lowered rates.

They raised the rates again, just not like before.

i totally agree with u cuz i spamed over than 600 mets with one char but no luck only one char made alot of socket like

2 socket ring and necky and unique robe and alot of 1 socket items :P

there are no good time or cord , only if u feeling u have luck go spam ur mets
or this char got DBS or good items while u are hunting :)

thanks, for all tips. I will keep trying. I have used all my mets and no luck and I had allotttttt of mets. only thing I can think of it is that TQ has set socket rate too low. stupid low

don't spam the items higher as 30 it's a waste

i not agree with u... i was tryin to make my armor (warrior) from 110 lvl to 120 lvl and i make it with 1 met ... i was smiling at my friend face coz. he said that i can't ... then 2 hours later my cousin pm me and he said gratz on 2 soc. armor... that is my story ... lol

Atleast met spamming above lvl 60 IS useless. Takes way to much mets.

When i was making socs, most of time it was items lvl 50-70.
