Are sockets worth buying?

I have made a socket in 7 met scrolls before. People say u usually make a socket within 200 meteors. In the market, a socket is usually 100kk. With 100k, i can buy 66 met scrolls (1.5kk each) which means 660 meteors... and if the statistics are right, i can make at least 1 socket and maybe more.

I am level 115 right now, doing moonbox all day, I only have 20KK right now, buying meteor scrolls when i see them below 1.6kk...

I'll post the update when i have the 66 meteor scrolls (the price of 1 socket in the market)

I'll also post the results... This will tell us, if buying a socket for 100kk is worth it

because of the new cp that tq implemented and the lottery with it, i should think you would avoid going too heavily into sockets because the socket prices will be dropping from people getting them in lottery

there is no use no more to try to get sockets....better to buy dbs and try your luck on LOTTERY.... you get much better items etc....so rather buy dbs.....thats my suggestion + ppl selling now alredy normla sockets 5 dbs on my server super 1 sock items like 10 dbs.....so i hope u see my point....

since the enw cps oour out on my server dbs are like 20-50mil on market, since socs are like 100mil shouldnt the socs be like 2-3dbs only, instead of 10

1050/27 = 38 lottery attempts...

With 38 lottery attempts ill get alot of good stuff, and a chance of +8, socks, dbs, but i might not get the item i wanted... e.g socketed ring...

they might give me a socketed warrior armor or something. The lottery just started, so people used alot of dbs (like 20) to get the announced goods like

adsfdsf has won 2 socketed elite shield

... still, 38 tries are alot, i might win something good.. but then i have to worry about finding cheap dbs, if there are any. And i have to liquidate my lottery crap for more dbs and... yeah


Met spamming, 660 mets should gaurantee a socket...

1. Buy off market for 100kk
2. Spam 660 Meteors
3. Use 38 Lottery tickets
4. Use 50 Moonboxes

use lottery ticket, sell them for MONEY, and buy ur soc from someone who got it, caus it will be cheaper. New items from lottery and elegance or celestial worth like an infinite ammount of gold. Soc prices will be going down. Thats how u do it.

To put socket in youre bow goto bird island talk to guy there 1db for first socket failible 5 db for 2nd socket wont fail

and THAT is why db buyeres will dominate. they used to have to buy a bulk to get about 6 plain socs. (360 USD). Socs will be like 2-3 dbs so you only have to spend 16-17 USD for 2 socs, or 50 USD for 6 socs. If CO is still worth playing in about 2 months, i'll probably buy 5 dbs and get 2 socs. Of course by then, full socs gear will be shit. You only have good gear if your full 2soc. Once I then get full 2soc, the giant bulkers will now have full 2soc +9 -7. sry for double post, but i dunno how to double quote or w/e. Sorry to find a flaw in your plan, but theres no such thing as a lottery ticket. Its just 27 cps.

another way is to do the lottery and sell all our stuff for cps. the overall chance of you making your cps back is like 1/5 and when you do make it back, you usually make like 10x more than you spent. so it's basically double or nothing.

ive made 4 socs so far boots atk ring ears and another soc ring all were done in less than 200 mets ive tried 4 times to make a necklace one spendind over 400 mets but so far no succes ive never heard of anyone speding 660 mets and not getting a soc so should be fine there

as for buying sockets, something can happen :P ..

u can collect full sock sets and sell for cash example "150 bucks" <-- cuz of this patch..

but if u make sets and play lot and get more imagine on profit if u find yourself retarded clients to buy your stuff dood..

its what i did.. i basically bought dbs on "profit" that i made on paypal, really didnt cost me a single dime but the start..



there are retarded clients out there that "are to lazy to make it themselves" so they look for an easier way "buying them"


sell single socks like example


1sock ring = 20bucks


and full socks for around 150 <-- this is ur catch "tell them i sell them cheaper in sets"


so u get rid of items fast.


but sometimes out of no were u'll find clients that want just 1 sing thing "this is another good thing"

It depends on how good you are at making sockets so far ive never wasted more then 200 mets to make a socket sockets are still no more then 50 mill on my server and the mets i get are the ones i find so i spend nothing to make them except for some time. db's are between like 15-25 mill on most servers crazy sht for sure
