Mambo isnt support anymore because they stopped developing it, so why compare it to xoops? I wouldnt choose Xoops nor Joomla since a public cms will always have the problems of being unsafe and if you forget to update it once, youre screwed. Better use an own one + you know your cms better than anyones = easier to fix things and secruity holes.
