Tq might have something cooking.

Ok I know some of you will say this has nothing to do with conquer but maybe it does. TQ digital bought the unreal tournament engine and licensing for heroes of might and majic. They also have made press releases that state they are going to unveil their new mmorpg at the E4 show this spring. Now if thats true then maybe they are just cash grabbing for more money to invest in this new super secret project of theirs.

Any of us who have been around for a while no game companies do this from time to time. Oh yea update they also have signed some development deals with Capcom, Bioware, and EA. So I dont know if thats a point of interest to anyone but it's something to think about.

hmm i think they r doing this new patch to grab as much money from db buyer as possible, maybe 2 month co is going down

nah not saying that. remember the E shows are for show casing games in and under development. basicly i think conquer will be their work horse for a long long time to come. people will continue to play simply cause they are addicted. folks can say all they want to that they are quiting but fact remains human nature is always going to win out on this issue. tq did this to shock the players more than likely they will then do what the did for eo which is give an incentive to the players to stay on. may not be a big one just a small one a tiny taste to keep them hooked and playing and buying dbs here are there. remember they got the psychology down pact. lets face it most people who play conquer are very needy.

I'm not "needy", I simply refuse to spend a dime on a free to play game.

Hai, this has been in circulation for a while. TQ's little 3d project should be Alpha in a couple months.
I don't think they are unaware of the damage they did to their playerbase with this patch.. but their best customers are loving it.
I think TQ made an error in judgement though. They don't really have enough hardcore db buyers to support all their servers. If the population drops by 40%, which it probably will... I'd that's a lot of ghost-servers, and wasted bandwidth.

I'm joining the theory that TQ doesn't care. They're focusing on 3d now. ^^

Well, i also hope TQ dies, Conquer was good in the start, when it first came out, but now, with all this stupid ass crap like "XP Balls" and the Lottery allowing even just NOOBS to get a +5 stone pack(has 5 +5stones in it which can be used as any item) which ruins the game. And soon, double socketed coats will be like a refined backsword (just an example), you can get them from the lottery quest, so many have been handed out already in Crystal. These items are meant too be earnt, and time is meant too be put into collectiing these, not just some frreakin idiot in TQ saying' well it worked in Eudemons, it should work in conquer too". which ever moron put all this new crap into Conquer, i hope they get the fleas of 1000 camels infested into there crotch and may there arms be 2 short 2 scratch! MUHAHAHAaaaa

ya conquer is screwd for us who actually work for our stuff....

we need to hack the game more.. read my sig :D
