How t change the name of "Gold"?

Can someone help me on how I can change the name of "Gold". Is it in the itemtype.bat file or in another file?

There is an item called 'Gold' in the Itemtype.dat, but I don't think it's the kind you see on the ground.

If you've ever played Qonquer when there was still commands, you could spawn the item Gold and it would be an item in your inventory, not on the ground.

hmm, yea...well that wouldn't work fr what im trying to do but thxs for the info. I'm kinda new to hex editing and having a hard time trying to figure out how the decript the itemtype.dat. I assume thats where it will be anyways. I just want to change it to "gold" instead of "Gold". Becasue I have the ScriptVessel and want it to pick up neckys and rings and stuff but not waste time on the gold. I select the option 6 to pick up neckeys and rings but he picks up gold or I select 9 to not pick up gold and it not get neckys and rings. So i figured if I could change the name of gld it would fix that prolem. Anybody got a solution for me?

use option 9 on all items, it picks up every thing but gold and drops non +1 normal items

yes but...when it runs across another hunter droping a full load of items I dont want to repick up all his items.

it wont, it picks up and drops instantly if its not +1 then ignores it, i have sv and thats how it works for me
