If I make a server and start it with hamachi only for a month until I get a check to buy a dedi, will I still get players?

Make a server dont go public with it. Work on your files till you can say that they are good enough to go public with them. I think this would be better but its up to you.

You wont get much players. Hamachi makes it lagg a lot and people dont like downloading programs. I suggest do what bullet21 said.
