Workaround for picking items

The problem Scriptvessel hast with picking items is their their name. AFAIK they hook the draw function which returns the upper left coordinate of the textbox.

However if the name is really long the item itself is rendered quite a bit away from that coordinate.

The best Solution is to rename all long name items so it picks them up. Unfortunately I cannot run the decrypter for the itemtype.dat file (crashes whenever i try to run it), someone that is able should experiment a little with it.

By shortening the names it should be possible to make SV pickup all items.

If the Developers of SV would just count the number of letters they could as well get SV to click below the middle of the name thus picking up the long names too.

Wouldent that cause Sv not to recodnise the name there for not picking the item up.

It's using the itemID not the name.

The name is just for the textbox.

Btw: You can use the zoomhack so it squeezes the view which will make it pickup most items, however if you ever reach the edge of the map you will get stuck there.
