looking for Skill Icons

Ok, so maybe i lied a little in the Title but atleast my topic description is correct. I know where the skill icon DDS files are, what i want to know is, lets say i made a new icon for SummonGuard, is there a way i can make my conquer interface use the new Icon rather than reusing the same icon for both, Why theyu couldnt have just made a diffrent icin in the 1st place i will never know, but eh, what can you do, tq is lazy.

*Sigh* what, nobody actually knows how to make co look for a new icon rather than using teh same one for 2 spells? i mean, i know there is a way, i think my friend did it, but he just changed target from one skill icon to another (i think)

Skill icons should be packed in these 2 .ani files.
Extract with wdfbatcher, but I assume you already know how to do that.

well i gave you karma for actually answering me even tho it wasnt the answer i was looking for. what i need is to know how to make co not use the same skill icon for 2 diffrent skills such as DH and SummonGuard for example.

Hm, wow sorry for not paying attention.
The skill icons are probably bound to the game via .ini as the rest of teh shyte is.
So what you would have to do is find the .ini file in "#/Conquer 2.0/ini" folder, make youself a new icon and bind it to DH or whatever skillicon you want to "bind" it to.

Making of the new icon and fining the old ones is the easy part, but finding the .ini and how they interact with CO GUI is tricky.
I would give it a try but not now tho, got to extract all files in .ani first, and mainly sleep now.

If noone else comes up with something that works and this thread dies I'll just PM you.

Try looking in the gui.ini file. Ive messed with it a little bit and you can resize the user interface and move things around to where you want them. but I.m not for sure if the skill buttons are linked to CO in there.

You can resize the main images but I couldn't find a way to move the main windows.

Here's a sample of how it seems to work.

//人物创建 (link to main dds file)
[151-1115] //IDC_ROLECREATE_EDT_NAME 人物名称输入 (dds file to load into the interface)
x=337
y=208
w=125
h=20

The x,y,w,h is the offset inside of the main window not the position on the screen.

Keep this way, you may be able to make a new interface !
Maybe a special ePVP interface ?
Many people change color, but maybe we can change more ! :rolleyes:

Yeah you can change a lot of it. Ive went through some of it and had the action bar half the size it was so it didnt take up so much room on the screen to have open. Lost what notes i did have on the different sections of the file when my hd crashed a few month back. If I get some more time I'll start working on it again. The trick to finding what you are looking for is count the number of seperate dds files in the main window. Like the action bar has the 10 icons and the close button so look under the main headings and look for 11 entrys. This helps to narrow it down a bit. Btw the action bar is the third section.

i cant read the top line (link to main DDS) and the "dds file to load into the interface" is it cuz i havent installed language packs?
