[Help] Setting Up a Private Server

Please i need someone to help me set up a private server from the scratch step-by-step or using a video tutorial coz i searched alot but the guides i found couldn't satisfy me :confused:, i need help in how to connect the server? using hamachi or not, creating a webpage, setting up the rates and so on, coz i really wanna make a server for myself,

If there is any one interested in guiding me please let me know and i will be very grateful ;)

use one of the guides we have out there on the forums. theytell you exactly what you need to know

i saw many guides but couldn't understand anything:confused:
i am new here and i know nothing about setting up servers and all i need is a friendly "mentor" to teach me how to create a server step-by-step coz the guides here need someone that understands programming which is not me

There are MANY already existing guides. They are very comprehensive and it can't really get any simpler then that. I'm sorry but if you can't understand them maybe your not ready for your own server.

see my signature for a easy website package
it just contain a website + apache + mysql

then search the server files , there are enoouf releases here that are ready to go

edit a little on it (try to figure out what to edit) and change the ip's to your server ip
set the right mysql password on it and your fine to go (test/test or root/test )

thats teh basic and it is not realy that hard
it takes a few hours if you dont know how to do it and 10 min if you know how to do it

if it doesnt works , then please try something else as this will keep failing then
