Are the weekdays client sided or server sided?

It is really irritating to have to play on certain days to do certain rp dungeons and missions. Is the day (Baltane, Samhain and the other stupid days) on the server side of mabinogi, or client? I believe it is probably server-sided, but it would be nice to know.

If it is client sided, would anyone know how i could change the day? So that i could finish Generation quests without waiting for tuesday?

Thanks in advance.

i'm personally not sure, but it is most probably (almost certainly) server-sided. As in, you can't change what 'day' it is by changing your own local time/timezone. However, you can still look into finishing Generation quests without waiting for tuesday, or other attributes that the day gives you, BUT, I can assure you that no one here will even BOTHER looking through that much of code for the simple matter of Generation quest finishing.

I think it's server-sided because dungeons in Iria only disappear on Saturdays. I don't think you can make them disappear on Mondays, etc.

Server sided. (Oh wow a normal question that isn't retarded!)

I don't know whether to be surprised, or dumbfounded.

I mean its common sense that its server-sided

I don't know what would have been easier. Changing the date on your computer, or asking Epvp, either way this thread made me post for the first time... in a longgggg time.

It was possible to manipulate it in the past; you didn't change days at midnight real-time until you changed channels, relogged, etc.

It might be possible to manipulate the time the client uses so you can tell your client it's such and such date so you can have your Tuesday on a Friday. One would probably only have to sent to their client the time packet used when you login/change channel to say it is such and such date. But you might need to block the same packet that's sent from the server. Thou this is only a guess since I'm not going to look into doing it.

Also while it is common sense to have these kinds of stuff server side dev cat and nexon have no common sense. Else we'd have a better game with better gms.
