PIC´s OF HOW TO MAKE MULTI-CLIENT UR SELF

This is a easy guide to change Conquer.exe in order to make multiclient work. Do it each time TQ upgrade CO (dont do it if the only thing changed in the patch is a new server add).

You need:
1. Hex Editor
2. Upx Software
3. A Copy of Conquer.exe
4. Copy UPX soft. in the same directory were u placed the copy of Conquer.exe

First go to comand line (Start/Run/CMD) and go to de directory were you have the copy of the Conquer.exe & the UPX (use to decompress the exe) then:

EDIT: For the last patch of CO (4346) don´t need to unpack and repack steps, i'll keep those steps in the guide 'cos maybe will be usefull in the future.

Then Open The Unpacked Conquer.exe with the Hex Editor

Then Click Find and searc for the specified String:

Forgot to put the pic :D

After search change That English word for Chinese (u can change directly writing over the word) and save the file:

....Replace for Chinese... and save...

And now Repack the file and u have a working Multiclient .exe

For some reason that evades me i did all the things u told to do, and still cant make a working multiclient, i want to learn and not to leech.

I used the same progs u did, i decompressed the file, edited it, replaced English for Chinese, compressed it again, and didnt work, all that it does is show me for a sec the 3rd conquer and then close, less than a sec, but i see it.

Some explanation will be nice.

NO need to use ANY Unpackers.

1. Open "Conquer.exe" with any HEX EDITOR.
2. Search for the word "Engis"
3. Replace "Engis" for "Sngis" (OR change any letter)
4. Save the file.
5. Open how many clients ur pc can handle.

Sorry now its revised. Try now with the new pics. Almost the same just changed de search string.
The word 'English' appears few times inside the file, you changed the wrong one (because of my fault :ops: ) and thats y didnt worked to you. Now Its perfect ;)
