pick axe

ok i know this is a newb ? probably but i could not find anything on it but i was wondering if your pick axe skill has anything to do with what your chances of getting a super gem is since now mining for gems is almost pointless

No doenst make any difference, cuz i had on my main 8 stars and my nub 1, nub found more gems. but now the new patch came out you dont need to mine cuz its very hard to find a gem

Pick axe skill seems to only increase how quickly you mine. You end up with more ores faster, at least my miners with high pick axe skill do. I can confirm that it does not increase your "luck" in mining super gems.

its make u mine faster -> more ore in less time -> more gems (NOTE:more gems doesnt equal supergems) -> i suggest you make a sock in ur pickaxe/hoe (pickaxe is better) and put in superfury. :]

well thanks on the socket suggestion i have notice more ores faster but as for gems ive mined with 5 chars for the last 6 hours and no gem its sad an pathetic what they did to mining

Also you can make it +1, +2 etc, seems to help also...

I still see people puttin super kylins in there pick axe and expecting better gems....... lol

why do i never see anyone with a sock in their pickaxe? :S maybe i should visit the mines more often lol :P

There's a guy on mercury with wat120-tro130 that has +2 2-spg's pickaxe, says he lv 13 profish with it. Tell's me it helps alot. Gets more ores, and gems. He says that rate increases. Haven't seen him since patch though. Said he had the 2 pheonix gems for thunder, used when he would pull out his gold gaurd to kill pker's. :rofl:

i heard the super fury thing b4 to but when you mine i loses dura..... losing dura = wasted db and super fury .... unless you never mine afk.....i had 2 of em b4 they r best just to show off :P

Mining has nothing to do with the gems and the socs in it or even the skill. Lots of people soc and put some gems in them, HOW USELESS? I just think its really really dumb.

Some people just belive that "gems attract gems" theory. while others put gems to show how rich they are could afford a "high Class" pickaxe.

I am about positive the prof aspect of a Pick Axe only effects the attack of it like all other weapons. And the gaining less ore better gem idea of it is completely fictional.
