Effect removal tool

All you have to do is copy these files in your ...Conquer Online2\ini folder.
It does not overwrite anything, so you should not worry, if you still do, all you have to do is open the 3DEffect.bat file with notepad, and all it should be in there is 7 lines of text.

The other file, 3DEffect.mod is an empty file, 0 bytes, I'm thinking there should be no worries there...

Basically what it does is replace the original 3DEffect file with a blank one, renaming the original to 3DEffect.mod.

To use is simple as hell:

Close the co u want to have whitout effects, run the bat, open up all the COs u want whitout effects, log in, then run the bat again to have effects on other accounts.

Another thing you should do, is make a shortcut to 3DEffect.bat on you desktop or w/e, for easyer acces.

Enjoy
All credits go to me ;)

It worked beautifully at removing my fx, but it won't make them come back for individual clients. Has anyone had any luck with having it work on individual clients? If so, how did you do it? I copied all three files into my conquer2.0\ini folder. The 3DEffect.ini, 3DEffect.bat, and the 3DEffect.mod. I click on the 3DEffect.bat and "hit any key" like it says, and it removes all the effects very well. But when I open 3DEffect.bat again and hit "any key" like it says, it doesn't bring them back for the next client. Did I do something wrong?

Thanks +1 Karma for removing my effects, anyhow. That was the main abjective.

It can be because there are other efect removers released before this one.
