Making your own multiclient

Ok this is basicly based off of Vivivivi thread but im just going into more detail into it.

1. First off you need a hex editor ( i like to use Cygnus hex editor, very easy to use, [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

P.S After the first step u go to open and local disk, program files, and to conquer 2.0 then find conquer.exe (sometimes it is just called Conquer)

2. Once you have that hex editor go to Edit and then go to Find.

3. Then once u have the find screen type in eng, it will bring you to a number line move to the right and u will see Engis.

4. Highlight one of the letters in Engis an put a new letter in place.(use something like Enhis thats what i did

5. Go to save and the file is saved.

6. The file should be saved into ur conquer folder and u will be able to use 3+ C.O accs

Before you do all this i sugest u save the old conquer.exe into other folder in case u messed up or for later use.

Im 80% sure, that it will be obselete after they release todays patch. It contains a new conquer.exe that fixes the login problem for the people who cant log in.

then u just redue what i do and it works again

they have to keep engis in there engis is what makes it run

It is a very insightfull lesson, but some time around the 4200 patches TQ started upx packing the exe so hex editing it in this fashion will render unknown results as well as cause errors in the the exe so first u need to un pack the exe then do the hex edit also after you hex edit you don't have to re pack it

unpacking is easy but requires upx, which is a command line (dos) program, requirering you to open the dos prompt and type in lines of text that commands the program what to do (hence the name)

rapidshare? didnt know they used it, I thought that it was download.com or megaupload or their own server.
*notes your post count* hmm. anyhow the file you pointed to appears clean yet unpacked. They normally pack it. *checks co forum announcements* There doesnt seem to be any new patches out. *hexes it to see, will edit after checking a new pm*

What i meant was, i was helping fchen sort the problem out, so he was sending me files n stuff to test since i couldnt login. That file is from my pc, i used rapidshare coz i couldnt think of any other upload site, im tired :)

My post count is low, but i have no intention of hacking etc. And since it doesnt have the virus that the conquer.exe from patch 4331 had, then its obviously genuine? :?

The patch will be today, check the community forum for the fix thread btw.

after being around this forum for a while you tend to get suspicious of any low poster sharing files, so its not just you, other low posters before you have ruined the low poster reputation. And there isnt anything wrong with the current patch, just seems to have a stray line of code that resembles a virus, so it gets tagged as one.

He say why it wasnt packed?

No, but it came straight from one of his programmers after the client was giving me an error of a missing file, that wasnt present in anyones co folder :rolleyes:

Ive been able to log in no problem so I'll wait for the official patch and rehex it XD.
