reducing tg lag until/if cobo is re-released

I found this here by searching ages ago but the noobs around the forum have yet to hear of the search button. It's up near the top left corner you noobs :rolleyes: Anyhow, here is a quick, painless and easy way to reduce tg lag.

Right click on your conquer shortcut, chose properties and find target.

Once there scroll up and click on the ini folder.

At the very top of the list is the 3deffects.ini.

While holding the shift key click and drag it away to create a copy of it the new file will say Copy of 3deffects.ini. Right click on that and chose send to desktop. Do the same for the 3deffects.ini.

Now open the 3deffects.ini, hit ctrl+a to select all and then hit the delete key.

Save it and now you will see the motions but not display the annimations. Its not cobo but its a way to drastically reduce tg lag.

When you wish to restore open both the files and copy the contents of Copy of 3deffects.ini into the 3deffects.ini and save it.

When tq updates the file just do the reverse 3deffects.ini >>copy of 3deffects.ini.

Actually I use notetab to be able to open both files at once with only one click and not need the shortcuts :) A very handy txt editor [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

And I dont mind karma, I just dont want it totally handed out for stupid things. I want to actually earn it. Im going to collage for a pc programmer. My first project once i get my bachlor's degree will be hacking co XD I can hardly wait but first i need my associates in business -.- oh joy

Although i knew and used this, this trick does not help me much. My problem starts in lvl 125 stakes. (not another place in tg or outside) As soon as i start to hit them my ping starts to increase slowly and when it reaches to 80-85k It dces. I had solved this problem by using cotobos `dont show attacks` function. But as u all know cotobo does not work now and I cant stay tg in 125 stakes for even 15 min. So can anyone help me how can I make my conquer shows people in tg standing not attacking like cotobos `dont show attacks` function did?? I am guessing i should change or delete some values in 3dmotion.ini or Action3DEffect.ini. So can anyone tell me which spesific values in which files I should change or delete?

Mr Teenies remover works better =) removes arrows as well =)
