BackPatcher + Custom Play.exe

SoooOoo, people on msn have been bugging me about backpatching lately, it's really not that hard to do without a program, but for you people having trouble or just want things done for ya, here you go. :D

Open the readme.txt file for more info on how to use it.

Thx, I could make the Play.exe look a little nicer but eh, personally don't care about the appearance much :P

If anyone wants to make some gfx for it I'll throw them together and make it sexy :pimp:

Doesnt work for me, it says Downloading.. then 'HCDownload is not responding' tryed running as admin etc etc: Windows 7 32Bit

Hrm.... by any chance are you downloading a really old patch?

Ah, then more than likely conquer doesn't host it on their website.

This is more for current patches just incase someone updates conquer and the bots they're using break. Other than that there's not really any reason to backpatch. :p

Besides, 5293 down to 5181 wouldn't work out very well for you.

i tried this and it would just not work for me ><

Yeah i tried it too, i copy and pasted what the text file said for the back patch and the program just closes, im trying to backpatch to 5302 and when i try the backpather just closes, any idea as to what im doing wrong?

EDIT: Run as administrator if using vista or windows 7, figured it out sorrry!

however is it not working with patch 5303?

It's for down patching. If the patch is on conquers site it will find it, if it's not on conquers site yet you have to wait.

However, I removed this tool. So you can close this thread too.
