co damage calculator v1.0

This is my first program and its created in C#..so you will need the .net framework to run it:

Co dam calculator description:
this program was designed as a way to find out dam received from mobs and other players before actually fighting them. ie You could select a monster from the list and find out what def you would need to only rec 1 dam from that monster.

The program is divided into 2 sections.. Magic dam recived/Taken and Physical dam recieved/taken

Magic dam recieved/Taken:
There is a bug with this section of the program and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. The problem is it will only calculate mag dam recieved correctly if your mag def is below 99 and the monster or player's mag att is below 999. If you wish to help with this problem pm and i will explain more.

Physical dam recieved/taken:
this section runs great, no bugs and all calculations are correct. note- it will only calculate physical damage from a non passive att, which means i have not implemented skills like ss,fb,herc,and such into the calculations. That will be added in the next version. This means that when you calculate pvp phys dam it will calculate as if you where hit with no skills like ss or fb.

Directions:
input mag att, or min att and max att into the text boxes
input mag def or physical def
hit calculate button and there you have it
*you must hit the conver button after inputing your mag def then hit calculate.
* the rb and 2ndRb radio buttons are inactive..i will add those calculations in the next release
*the magic selection box and pvp mag def are not working since mag def is measured by percent i tried test after test to get the calculation correct and i couldnt
Please remember this is my first program and im just trying to contribute back to the community.
I also would appreciate any ideas or ways to improve

ok well youre missing one very important thing level calculation cause my defense is great but cause of ma level im taking some major damage from tombats103 although bloody bats should hit 1

I took that into consideration and tested with multiple characters of different lvl's and the calculations seemed to work out for me..I could be wrong tho..

i wanna make some stuff also, but i don't think i know enough. i took a c++ class but its like fucking bs shit. we didnt learn jackshit to make something like what all you guys are making. most online guides suck because its just some guys that know a lot about the language, but just fucking ramble on because they don't know how to teach, so i'm just trying ot learn myself now

for the magic damage calculator could u add a field where u can enter the magic attack of monsters from the webiste ?

doesn't rb also effect magic defence ?

i usually use the formula for magic defence from the website so i kinda know what goes into it...

yeah pm the formula if you would..that would be great!
the problem i was running into was Mag def is measured in percent and if you where to take a guard from tc there mag att it is 37,500 well if you have 99% mag def it will say you will only take 1 damage which is untrue.My character has 272% mag def and is reb so that is 302 % mag def and tc guards do 2,447 to me
so thats my problem. there is also a problem with pvp mag def!

and yes chickeneaterguy i will help anyone with C# just pm me. and ive never asked for +k but if i help anyone in pm with stuff i think its only right to +k since im taking time out to help people..You know who u are :)

To calculate Magic DMG:

Magic attack - XX%(PERCENT) - XXX(OF PLUS, +1, +2.....)

Ex:
Magic Attack = 120
Magic Defense = 80% + 10(Ear +1)

120-80% = 24 - 10 = 14

PS: Magic Defense on Status(of conquer) is wrong

Thanx for the formula.. another problem i ran into is your magic att on status is not affected by spell..ie if my mag att is 120..fire will not do the same amount as thunder.. So im thinking i will have to go threw with a naked noob and find out the base damage for each spell...
