Get Over/Outside of Alterac Valley (8 MIN VICTORY)

For those of you who've heard the recent complains (cough alliance cough, babies) about Horde winning Alterac Valley in under 8 minutes.. well this is how it's done.. it requires taking advantage of the terrain to perform.

First find area in Figure 1a, location can be found in Figure 1b

Now.. make sure you are up as far as you can go, then mount and turn until you can see this area.

Start your run, and take a mighty leap across and try to land as close to the top of the cliff as possible ... keep running and turn to face the ledge ... if you did it right you'll be on solid ground.

Now, turn left and run up the hillside, you can now see "outside" Alterac Valley .. you can make it down safely with any sort of slowfall mechanism.

Using this method, you can go up and tag & kill Vandaar in under 8 minutes! Requires some minor kiting, but nothing else! You bypass ALL towers/gy's, which leaves Vandaar & 4 Marshall's to deal with.. you pull Vandaar solo away from his buddies (see screenshot) and congrats, you've just gotten an AV victory in under ten minutes.. amazing!

Edit: Being a mage without light feathers, I just hit Ice Block before I landed, but everything else is raised. Was I not supposed to fall?

Der Trick ist gut aber die Chance dass du jemandem auffällst, der dich bei einem GM meldet
ist riesig, insbesondee wenn mehrere Personen "über die Hügel" zu Stormpike schleichen.

The Trick ist good but the chance to get wasted and reportet to a GM ist too high and if you come as a group "over the hills" to Stormpike there is very much chance that somebody calls a GM

als ich komme da hoch, schön und gut, aber spätestens nach dem 3ten hügel kommst ned weiter....deweiterwen werden wohl imba wallwalking fähigkeit vorausgesetzt....kp ich komm nich bis in norden....

jo kam auch auf den hügel und bin dann irgendwo runter gefallen.btw wäre einfacher einfach als ally zur hdh reinzuspringen :P
