CO Account trading thread too old

Hi,

A great member mojo69 requested me to review the account trading thread.
He pointed that some of the data is old and may need to clean up.
Some spamming was taking place.

I did a review and would like you all to vote if possible.

The thread start Apr 2006, 80 pages and 1186 replied in 8 months.
It means about 148 posting in a month.
Is a very long thread to review.

To make it simple and up to date I would like to suggest to do it quarterly.
It mean the account trading will be closed and create a new one each 3 months.

Jan - Mar
Apr - Jun
Jul - Sep
Oct - Dec

*Edit - The old thread will be un-pinned and closed.
The new thread will be pinned and include a link for the old thread. (for reference)

For example

Pinned Apr-Jun 2007
-------------------
included Un-pinned & Closed Apr - Dec 06 link
included Un-pinned & Closed Jan - Mar 07 link

The starting of the thread will indicate the duration of the thread open.
If a member posted in the end of Mar, he/she can post it again at Apr on a new thread after the Mar thread was closed.

If most of the member agreed, we shall start the new thread on Jan and last till Mar.

good idea, but instead of deleting the old one just close it and insert the link to the old thread in the new one (just for the record)

This is what I think:

There should be about 4 threads related to this (wait keep on reading don't get mad yet) and 1 pinned thread linking to these threads (those who use often will bookmark it anyways)

so here are the 4 thread:
Sell
Buy
Trade
Comments about ppl ( good seller, scammer, maybe questions if not pm)

so what i'm saying is to seperate everything up, and make the threads no comments and only info for S/B/T so it's more organized and ppl don't need to bump. And when some1 finishes a deal they should edit their post to "SOLD PLS REMOVE" and a mod will either delete it or move it to a trash can forum if there is one. That way all will be updated info and ppl can get what they want easily, and no more need to make a new thread every so often

Great idea!

There are something I would consider.

I guess, most of the people would want to sell or buy.
It is less people ask for trade.

There will be a double post if a person want to "sell or trade" so as "buy or trade"

I guess 2 threads should be good enough.
PM should be the major communication.
