[HELP ME PLEASE ]

Ok i was wondering if you all can tell me what needs to be done to convert a 5165 source to a 1.0 source or 5017 eater way will tell me the info i need for what im doing i no i have to Chang the packets like char info and stuff but other then that stuff what do i need to do to convert it?

5017 isnt something I think you can handle, because I doubt you know how to remove the whole blowfish encryption, 1.0 Would be easy but pointless.

Why choosing a source in so high patch, when u will take it like 150patches down?

@Taylor2846 Would be much easier for you to get a source 5017 since there are some released.

Or write your own 5017 source. No bowfish/dhkey... my god it would be such a simpe source to make w/ everything that's released for it already.


To answer your question, virtually EVERY packet would change, encryption system changes, would have to remove any game systems coded not functional in that patch (steeds, bp, talli, new composition system... etc) and change them... basicly all you would keep is the socket network which is flawed and worthless to begin with. Use hybrids 5017, it's bugless and would create 100x better server for you. If you don't like the way he does packets then write your own packet system or grab one from an existing source (personally i like immune's and one of tannels that was in his proxy)

i dont rely plan on host the source im just trying to to it for learning. i am going to try to code my own 5017 source i just don't have the knowledge to do it just yet and i dont have that much time now school stared back im spending all my time in school or with my girlfriend LOL but as soon as i get the knolege i need to create my own source that is what im going to do
