Xtrap Info please.

Hi guys,
I am currently looking to find a way to override Xtrap. YES it can be done, how, it might take a little time.
I just need the program listing, and if someone knows the program lang its in. I have a nice bone to pick with Mayn and i am in the mood to do the worst.
Any info is welcomed.

there is none to my knowledge that is publicly available for Mayn. Best you can do is find cheats that work on Aeria make sig's and a C++ dll that does them and use it on mayn.

@ Mega Well, the thing is, there is a way to program Xtrap to "run" but it not actually run. i just need to know the code lang., and the program list. So if you have a nice free decompiler you know of, i would appreciate it.

Do you know of a tutorial? cause, really, i am willing to do alot to find a way to bypass.

And ollydbg. but your a noob you wont be able to make any sense of it let alone trick xtrap that way. The way i trick it is I know it accepts the dll GXDCompress so i put my code into that instead to load my own dll. You can do this via loadlibary api in a code cave or just get the source code and compile it with it in.

Xtrap dosnt care about the dll as it dosnt check if its changed it just checks to make sure it hasnt change after its been loaded.

Robsus, its not ruining the game. Mayn sits on a high horse of them thinking they are untouchable. If there is a way to hack, then more players will go back to it.

thanks Mega, i am not exactly a noob, its just been along time since i actually had to work at hacking/bypassing. If i was, i would be asking exactly how i should be doing it. :P

After XTrap Mayn went down as hell , I think that was a big mistake of theirs. But anyways :D if you find the bypass , can you hand it over ?

As ive said a lot the only way ive found past it so far as a quick and easy solution is to make the GXDCompress dll load your own dll XTrap allows this dll as it was loaded by GXDCompress.dll and you can then use memcpy to do your hacks :).

Of course there is another way but the game being packed with Themida and such makes it more complicated... Rather than unpack it find the codes you need to patch to disarm xtrap and such I would rather to just trick XTrap to allow it to run your hacks :).

GXDCompress.dll or w/e it is called is actually a renamed Zlib dll. You can find out the version of the zlib dll by looking at the properties or description of the file. You can then google for the source code make a main.cpp in the project insert code in the DLL Main for loading a dll using LoadLibary.

You cant use cheat engine etc on the game using this method without further code and since your coding blind as you cant see the code using ollydbg its kinda tricky...

What would be good is to code a memory hacker into a dll and load it inside the game. So that you can find the hacks you need. Or find signitures from doign it on aeria first.
