Is it possible to take the Avatar changing npc and duplicate that so the images are pictures of weapons and armor and when you click them it gives you that items for a quest reward? or have the same type of think with a shop npc?

:P now i just got to figure out how they work so i can edit them this will be a pain but thanks now i know its not just a waste of time trying to do that

First of all you have to extract all npc faces using unknownone's wdf extractor.Quote:

Then, there should be about 255 faces.
Their extension is .dds and so does itemminicon ones. All you have to do, is copy an item icon, rename it to face like 250(if you want more items, just do 251 , 252, 253, 254 w.e) and replace it. Then, when you'll send the face dialog packet with the value that you replaced (e.g 250) the new dds will appear and it will be the weapon/armor/w.e you copied

Read what I said again, I didn't even mention anything of changing anything in the server. All I said is client side -.-', and then sending the avatar for the npc dialog IS NOT changing the face of the player.Quote:

i could read that a million times and not understand it i know your saying to just change the client side but what im trying to get is how will the game know weather of not the quest is complete and what item to give you in game and as far as i know thats not in the client and i want to keep the Avatar changerQuote:
