Hit a brick Wall

Hey ElitePvpers,

I have a problem which isn't letting me play 2moons. I will explain below...

I downloaded the game because a lot of people in my clan are playing it, I am from Britain unlike most of them so I had to use the Bypass as the normal Launcher.exe and MiniLauncher.exe both didn't work.

I made a character but when I went to play, it said my Client was wrong. I presume this is because I couldn't update it using the Launcher.

I have tried running Launcher.exe as an admin, read-only, in compatibility mode for Win.XP SP2 and more but it just displays the weird characters message and doesn't work regardless. I am not sure if it is because I am in England or because I am using Windows 7.

I hope you guys know a way around using the launcher to update or a way to fix Launcher.exe as I have hit a brick wall (hence the title).

Thank you very much for the fast reply but I am sad to say, it didn't help and the file included was the same as the one already there :/

I did however see something about a Mod, do you have any idea what that means?

ok idk wat bypass ur using but bypass is not workign rite now n its pointless even if its working cuz u dont have ur files updated. read only? system shud have full permission. but idk the full detail on dat. try totally uninstalling program, n folders (go to C:, prog files, delete any gamehi fodler or acclaim or 2moons folder) n reinstalling fresh from 2moons.acclaim.com or whereever u get ur source. n stop writing in letter format on forum pls, it's annoying....

If u just started the game, it would be easyer to download the game from [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and start a new character there.

The game's name is dekaron (it is totaly the same as 2Moons, ONLY the name is defferent, meaning u can kick someone's ass playing dekaron while the other player is playing 2moons).

Make a gamehi account couse only acclaim's accounts work on 2moons, and only gamehi's account works on dekaron.

Dekaron has a really great thing, a manual patch that covers almost to the current game version, that would end the updating problem.

If u dont want to download dekaron, just try re-installing the game, that should fix the problem.

@UpdateSeeker to each his own lol, "letter format" makes it easyer to break problems down into small bits.

I am using the one stickified in the other forum (Hacks Macros etc) - Neptunes.

All I need to do is to update it, but the launcher just doesn't work (it loads ok sometimes but then suddenly gets the wierd character box pop up which crash it like a crit error)

What does the error say? (a screenshot would be awesome)

Hmmm, never seen that one. (i guess)
U could try going to ur 2moons folder (like D:\Program files\Gamehi_USA (or Acclaim)\2Moons) open ur launcher.confing (use a text editor for that like notepad) and version.txt makes sure that launcher.config has the same numbers as version.txt (tho my launcher config has 7.14.0 and everything works)

It randomly started working (the minilauncher) so I played it today.
