[Release/TIP] Custom 12sky2 Windows size

not much of a release, but any of you wanting to use a custom window size of 12sky2:

- edit the 'option.ini' file with a text editor

- when you have set it to full screen the file will read

y = 768 [or another value]
fullscreen = TRUE
x = 1024 [or another value]

[EXTRA]
isptype = 0
-------------------------------------------------

from here its obvious

change fullscreen = TRUE to FALSE

then change the number after y = 768 and x = 1024 to e.g. x = 1920 y = 1080

dont diss me for pointing out the obvious but some ppl still need help =]

This can also be set in the command line paramaters passed to the exe.

lol i can get around xtrap. But cant use cheat engine or anything on mayn. Ill have to code a cheat engine style thing later that works with xtrap :). And welcome back? i guess
My suggestions to just find the hacks on aeria or french etc then make them work on mayn.

You would of course code it in a dll. And trick xtrap to accept it :)

thanks ill take a look, im doin a degree in programming basically, so ive learnt a fair bit of C++ just none of the gui stuff! ahh i see, ill get onto that now, xtrap been pissin me off xD!

p.s. ive tried mayn hacks that have been released and are claimed to work =/ but they all detected by xtrap! xD

:D im going to make Map Fun work fully on mayn sometime later when i can be bothered patching it and working on it.

aghh i needa dload aeria to see all these hacks tested there =p y is everyone tending to stick to aeria rather than mayn? i understand that aeria are bigger than mayn but still lol!

Well im on aeria lol. But the hack's and method im using in Map Fun should be able to be applied to all the 12sky2 games with a little bit of tweaking.

The codes in my post for hacks that work even after patching worked on french version as well as aeria.

Different addreses in memory lol but you find those addys by looking for bytes so no biggie.

Untill we can get rid of xtrap compleatly from mayn we cant use hacking tools on it as such but we can still find the hacks on aeria then find them again in mayn by looking for the code we found in aeria.

i guess so xD just tried ur aeria map fun on mayn lol, its done more then any other hack has done to my mayn client with the 'do u want to load your files' thingy, even tho its not working yet on mayn =p, would the addresses not be different? thats what it was like before xtrap lol. i also heard that mayn change their addresses every few hours? hmm i will look into this, ill have alook at ur codes too, wow man ireally shudnt have stopped hackin for so long.. got even more to catch up on then before xD

Well to be honest to get it working on Mayn I just need to find a few bytes in memory.. It differ es from aeria. I could get alot of the hacks working already using the codes on that other page. The only problem being I cant find them quickly or easily by searching blind....

I mean sure if i spent all week guessing how to find them it might work.... :) But i really do have to make a memory reader that gets around xtrap.

lol let me know, i may beable to test some stuff for u, like take the time to guess the codes etc! theres usually a pattern from each update like + hex 4 or sumthin xD

lol i dont need to guess patterns each update. Because i dont do it manually i make my hack find the hacks when they patch its "smart" chances are what i make wont be very usable to others as i will just be making really quick things to get the data i need. But if you want to help out try to figure out how the game makes the first 8 bytes of each packet it sends to the server.... that would be the best help ever :D

Mega, how do u understand the whole GDXCompress file to repack it, is it a list of dls that get injected? lol

GXDCompress is just a renamed zlib dll.. Just find what version by looking at the summary or details under propertys then google for the source code.
Add a main.cpp put in a dll main and put in LoadLibary for the dll(s) you wanna load.

Eg mine has a check if file exists for 12sky2hack.dll and 12sky2ps.dll then if they exist it asks if you wanna load them.

The game is paused at this time after the dll is loaded and the game continues loading you have to wait about 1 seccond for all the game's code to be unpacked from themida. Then you can do your scans etc.

So i just have seprate thread in my dll that starts it scanning for stuff and managing all the hacks part after that time :).

awesomee, im currently reading up on the zlib stuff, rite so the gxd compress has no other info? or do u use it using the zlib code? and then edit?? lol so many questions xD

p.s. there must be a way to use the games way of unpacking themida for our own use..? lol

kk, so i got file version 1.2.3, all source code for zlib ver 1.2.3 has no project file? start from scratch? or am i lookin for source code for zlib1.dll (still lookin for source for that)

also no luck with the zlib1.dll source code... and are u using C or C++ for the dlls?

and ive had an idea, is ther anyway i could use ur GDXCompress as a DLL loader (rename my dll to ts2hack.dll) so i can write my hacks in C++ for dll and ur dll loads them in... my bad choice for going with mayn i guess xD
