>How to add Character start items< -tutorial

Hi, today i will show you "how to" add new items to "start character"(StartItems.ini).

this is start items script:

[Slot14]
ID=3851
Amount=10

this is one item , it will be placed in slot 14 (left up corner of inventory )



[Slot14]
ID=3851
Amount=10
[Slot15]
ID=62
Amount=10

now player after create new character will receive 10 globals in left corner and in next slot will have 10 arrows.

[Slot14]
ID=3851
Amount=10
[Slot15]
ID=62
Amount=10
[Slot16]
ID=11
Amount=10

+ potions (i dont remember but id 11 should be potion)

there are no limits in add items.

Where can i find items id's?

Just open database using ms access and go to items table , there you wil find ID of every item in game.

They are spawning ;)

Do it with names, not numbers. Names stay the same across updates, IDs do not.

Oh wait, that's right, you're still on the 1.1 client or some super epicly old one right? Fail.

ok there is problem now when i try to add the items only last item added what`s going on ?

I also have same problem only the last items I put in file actually comes up when you create new chracter. But nice to know how to change the item anyway

i made this one :p but with 30 teleports i have 2 verions 1 all teleports in their right place (i mean rok mountain in the same teleport npc and included with alexandria zones)

v2 made by b1gLord (all teleports located in dw dw south and included with alexandria zones too)


it seems my versions is better
