[Request] How do we change the Boss or Monster spawn times

07/27/2010 16:41 jamessimpler#1
Hi Guys,

I am curious about one thing, and I have been search for quite sometime now but still unable to find the answer. My question is how do we change the spawn time for mobs or bosses in the game? I tried looking at the dbo.mobs table, but came out with nothing. Anyone has any idea on how to change the spawn times for monster and especially bosses? Thanks in advance :)

Daily bump... Please anyone with the information to share this? Or at least point us to the right direction. I have checked on the dbo.mobs but i see nothing that points me to this. I checked on mob.sdata also nothing that points me to this.

Bosses spawn time can be changed from Obelisk.ini this is an example
Quote:
[bothmob_58, (74, 1, 86400, (100,2000))] = (517.776, 105.132, 75.331),(3038)
86400 <-- is bosses spawn time you can change how many seconds you want to every boss.
Also you can add what boss you want to spawn in game into Obelisk.ini

This is the format for setting a NORMAL mob/ boss:

[bothmob_uniquenumber, (mapID, mobcount, Respawn in seconds, (Portal MapID, Portal number))] = (x, y, z),(mobID)

(Uniquenumber - doesnt effect anything, use a reasonable number though. Such as the next number in the sequence)

There are other options, but just look through the obelisk.ini and experiment. :D Gl :)

Ok, anyone know?
Code:
[bothmob_024, (64, 1, 604800, (100,2000))]  =  (577.27, 12, 805.04),(2414)
 [RandomRespawn] = (45,3600),(577.27, 12, 805.04),(508.45, 59, 542.16),(403.67, 71, 117.76)
Evilmidget Clavi have parametr (45, 3600) - what this parametr get? This is not coordinates...
Trying to add these mob to respawn and to understand parametrs of his spawn...
Do not understood =(

/sorry, for bad english/

64 = Map
1 = amount of mobs to spawn
604800 = time
(577.27 etc....) = coordonates
----------------------------
45 = amount of mobs
3600 = time to spawn
the 3 (*)(*)(*) = coordonates to spawn

So, its 45 mobs of Clavi to spawn on clean Aeria Server in OI map?:D
3600 = time to spawn after visit location? or what?

What required conditions must to complete player to see this mob on map, except known coordinates ?

what do you mean with clean aeria server in OI map???
there are 3x coordonates and mobs spawn each time in a diferent location it doesn't have an fixed spawn place,

3600 seconds spawn time after you have killed that mob.

to see the player mob on map you need to set your coorodates that you can take from game...press " H " key in game and in left side up you can see the coordonates x,y,z,map.
You can create your own like
Quote:
------------Cryptic the last------------

[bothmob_57, (0, 5, 14400, (100,2000))] = (here set coordonates x, y, z),(3082)

------------Ales------------

[bothmob_58, (70, 1, 14400, (100,2000))] = (here set coordonates x, y, z),(2785)

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
bothmob_58 next 59 etc...must come like this
70 = map
1 = count
14400 = seconds to spawn
(100,2000))] = don't change
( coordonates can be take from game when press H key)
(2785) = mob ID
this is requie to make a mob spawn in game.

you didn't understood...
That mob in obelisk.ini have 2 parametrs..

[bothmob_024, (64, 1, 604800, (100,2000))] = (577.27, 12, 805.04),(2414)
[RandomRespawn] = (45,3600),(577.27, 12, 805.04),(508.45, 59, 542.16),(403.67, 71, 117.76)

this is one mob.
his respawn time - 604800 secs.
3600 another respawn time?
Ales and Cryptic have one line of parametrs.
Clavi have two lines. So, first - his respawn - 604800 , another - 3600 ?
How to see coordinated. i know as well :) But this mob not spawn when player visit this location. This mob have some conditions to be spawned... I do not understood that...

(Clean aeria server - i mean, that server have no changes from original yet)

So, again.
3600 - spawn time after kill. 604800 - too?
This mob do not appear when players visit map. And this on every server... =\

no you didn't understand :P , i understand you very well but you need a little brain.exe there is telling you 100% what is, is first mob [bothmob] then [random]
After you kill the boss will spawn an amount of mobs seted to spawn is located on your svmap.(64)
And those mobs spawn every 3600 seconds!!!N
Next time give a clear question. Not asking for some and you need other things!

I tried to set a spawn time like you explain it in this thread.

Now the Problem is..., i set the respawn of Lich to 180 so 3min.

So when i walked in the the Boss Room, their are 2 Lich.

And when i killed both, 1 Lich spawns right after that. I guess spawn time 2-3 sec.

when i killed that non lich appears for the next 20 min...

What did i wrong?

Quote:
-Lich D1 Boss Spawnzeit
[bothmob_ 030, (4, 1, 180, (100,2000))] = (63.509, 9, 113.715),(738)
I edit the line like this.
07/06/2012 17:41 Mr Unknow#15
Because nothing is wrong. In svmap the Lich Boss is already registered. This means that if he is killed immediately spawn again. To change this you must delete the Lich - Boss in the svmap.

The second boss spawns because he stands in the Obelisk.ini. So let the Lich - Boss in the Obelisk.ini and delete the Lich - Boss in svmap
