[Exploit theory] Dupe

This is not mine, just took it from Poly from Shaya section. Someone has to try.

everyone who'll read this, i just used this technic from other MMORPG's...i tried it multiple times but it worked only 1time with small potions

1.What do you need?

1.1 you need a friend which connects through a different PC and router to Shaiya
1.2 personal shop
1.3 brain.exe & speed

2.Let's start!

2.1 one of you have to create a personal shop and put in the item you want to dupe(i've choosen that my friend creates the shop and i'll buy)

2.2 after your freind created the shop you have to stand next to him

2.3 now open his shop

--now you've to be quick--

2.4 your friend has to disconnect his PC from the internet

--the server won't kick him within 0.00001seconds...the kick takes ~2seconds--

2.5 after he has disconnected from the internet buy the item

2.6 if you had luck, the item appears in your inventory before he got kicked and the shop disappeared

2.7 your friend should relogg

2.8 if you had luck (again), the item is still in his inventory and in yours too"

Nice, i tried this on other mmorpgs too and works, well we need to try in this one

It is realy hard to do because once you pull out he ethernet cable, it takes too long to disconnect and even when it says disconnected on the screen - the character still stays online for a while which makes it really hard to time the 'trade'. You need to trade like 1/2 - 1/4 sec before it disconnects unless you use programs to help you do this but all the disconnection times differ everytime.

lol fail, when u buy something from npc or someone packets are sent telling the server that your buying that item, if u pull cable true it may not disc u for a few secs but how is the game gonna tell the server that yes ur buying that item without sending peckets?

The person who pulls the plug is the VENDOR, the one SELLING the item.

The other person BUYS the other when the vender is getting disconnected. This person doesn't pull the plug

its the same thing? everything in the vendors bag is saved on server even if vendor disc server will still know the items has been sold.

Yes, but what happen when the server first save the person then DC it? :) You have 0,5 sec to trade.

no other way to find out but trying yourself.

nobody tried yet? shame.

i did i even made macro (milliseconds counter) and used process hacker to kill process and spend pretty much time trying one and another way around. 100% doesnt work...

I'm trying to find out how to dupe pets with such similar methods. I can't find out how to do it

hm, you sure you did it with 2 people (not with multiclient)? you need to stop internet connection, not to kill process.
