The easiest way to edit DDS

Hello!
I found one program to change DDS`s, so now u DONT NEED PHOTOSHOP etc., PATCHES FOR PROGRAMS TO EDIT DDS
Here we have:

well known WTV - DDS file viewer 0.69b

DDS Converter 2.1 (This program was initially designed to batchly generate DXT-compressed textures out of common image files. Since nVidia's tool is used to achieve this goal, this program mostly acts as a front-end to this tool. Changing DDS to -> "bmp, jpg, jif, jpeg, png, psd, tga" and from all these formats back to DDS! So The basic items which u needed are:
-randomly only DDS Converter (u can view DDS`s with it too),
-basic editor one of these formats "bmp, jpg, jif, jpeg, png, psd, tga" ("Paint" may be;)

Good programs to edit, easy to find on net:
- Photoshop with Photosop DDS plugin
- Gimp (remember: u need GTK+) with gimp DDS plugin

wtf, what a waste of time, in ur first post u said it was a way to edit .dds files without using photoshop, and then u post the link to the .dds plugin, and in ur second post u recommend photoshop,

wtf?

its alternative way! If someone want better prog than for example paint! But converter its the easiest way to do it simple and fast!

Its a crap alternative, the easiest way is to use photoshop with the dds plugin, it gives better results, the inteface is nice n easy to use, me and korv mod CO regularly, we know what were on about.

Photoshop ftw

(use a torrent if you dont wanna buy it!)

NO! This is the easiest!
5 min = download converter, convert dds to bmp (for example) chnge it in MS Pain (for expample) and convert back to the dds! THATS IT
x min/hours = find a photoshop, download it, find plugin, download plugin

The new paint.net can open dds files. no need plugins simply download the new paint.net and install.

open and edit ^^
