A theory on sockets

The last two elite halberds that ive levelled to 60 using a meteor have gained a socket, maybe certain items soc depending on what level, quality, + value, and maybe even colour?
I also gained a soc on a helm =D which im very fuckin proud of, it soc'd levelling it to 52, was eli+2

anyone else remember what levels and all the details i stated of the items they soc'd were?

normal necky 37->45
normal boots 70->80
2nd soc in eli+4 troj armor 32->40
2nd soc in necky lvl 82 uni -> elite
2nd soc in sup+3 atk ring 80->90
2nd soc in eli+2 boots 100-> 110

all but the last one were made in the last 7 days ^^

lol i wouldnt dout him lol ... i know someone in my guild that makes sockets "every fing day and its not a lie lol"

and i am jealous cuz i used to make sockets .. but mine came very other month lol

You only can make 4 2socks in a week with 5000 mets and a lot of luck.

actually if its a case of the items level, quality, + value, bless value affecting it, like i suggested, it might well be possible to get dozens of sockets a day

This has been said many many times..... and im sad that i have to repeat it for most of you, THERE IS NO SOCKET TRICKS, IT IS ALL LUCK! get lucky time from a 2nd rb n' spamm mets till u get a socket....... thats all.

Made another yesterday... ref lvl 55 -> ref lvl 65 1soc brac -.-

btw, just cuz I made 3x 2soc items in 1 week doesnt mean they were mine...my friend couldnt up her ring, so I spammed some for her and got it :) Another friend was scared of this guy using fm+guard in tc so he switched armors and traded me his armor and 10 mets, it upped in 2 and got the 2nd soc :))

too lazy to edit ;/ Has anyone else noticed soc rates (with or without lucky time) have gone up a lot since 2nd rb came out...?

I had never made any socs (except 2nd soc in 1soc boots) until that patch...Now I've made loads :/ Also, there's a lot more people selling sockets in market....seems like the changed ur 1/10.000 chance to more like 1/1.000 lol
