i dont know about ur error but i do know about 2nd job quests.
when you recive the trace of heroes you must go to Darkon 3 to an npc that is right in front of the gate to Darkon 3.
heres is what u need to do: Credits to (jasonlei) from flyff webpage.
Chapter 1: The Trace
1.Go to SM market place where the Pepoviews are
2.Talk to Pepoview Blodeay
3.He'll ask you to collect a rare book (You'll acquire 500k)
4.After talking to Brodeay, Fly to Radion (around bang lake(REMEMBER,IT'S RADION NOT RAYDION)
5.Radion will ask you to meet [Magic Box]Ancimys (The Box in Flaris is on Floating Island around Lawolfs, SM box is near the Biggest tree near the town and the Darkon Box is near cranes and lodelite)
6.Talk to the box and you'll have to play Rock,Paper,Scissors
7.Each time you win, you'll gain some money and the box will cough out Trace of Hero1 or Trace of Hero2. When you lose, you'll lose some of your money (You'll at least need 6 of each Trace of Hero item)
8.Return to Radion after collecting the items and He'll ask you which Path u want to folow, Accept the path u chosen and he'll give u the gain Trace or Heroes
Chapter 2:The History
1.Go to [Druid]Venken who is at NW of Darkon 2.(shuld be north of mushpioe or hopper)
2.After talking to her, you have to find [Druid]Lueli (SW of Venken)
3.After talk to Lueli, Talk to Dien (NW of Lueli)
4.You'll be given a task to collect 6 Soul of Stones from Driller
5.After collecting the Stones, talk to Dein and she'll ask you to fly over to Death Island to bride a dwarpet called Kheymerhan (Around Pranksters, on the stone roof)
6.Bribe him for the Book by using Charms of Charms and return to Dien
Chapter 3:The Test
1.You must find the cleric of whom you wanna be for the next class:
a)[Knight Cleric]Tubearto
b)[Blade Cleric]Febeitoe
c)[BP Cleric]Ruenpharel
d)[RM Cleric]Shyrilepe
e)[Elem. Cleric]Pasteil
f)[Psy. Cleric]Hondruel
2.One of the Cleric you choose will ask you to collect 5 Dumptires and 10grrbandages (Note: you need the right amount of items aquired, e.g if you had 20grrs in ur inventory, the cleric WILL take all of them)
3.Then after collecting them and give it to ur Cleric you talked to before, they'll ask you to get signatures from 3 NPCs
The Following Order are:
The Food Merchant in Flaris
Armor Seller in SM
Public Office in Darkon 2
4.After collecting the signatures, go back to your cleric and give it to him.
Chapter 4: The Reincarnation
1.Go to The Shrine of Heroes in Darkon 3 (very south)
2.Talk to the guardian of who you want to be for ur next job class
3.They give you a mission to Kill a Lv60 Venel Guardian Which is a bit north-west of the shrine
4.After killing the Venel Guardian, go back and talk to the Guardian you talked before.
5.The Guardian will Change your Class
YOU MUST REMEMBER THIS: SINCE YOU CHANGE YOUR CLASS, DUN CELEBRATE UNTIL YOU SEE A BOOK DROP NEAR THE GUARDIAN NPC (YOU NEED IT IF YOU WANT 3.5MILL)
6.Go back to Brodeay who is at Market of SM
CONGRATULATION FOR FINISHING THE QUEST
Your reward is 3.5mill for the rare book dropped by the guardian and 500k u aquired at the start .
and for the love of god SEARCH!!!! You drown in a glass of water -_-.
