Sup guys, just wanna share some of the best places I know to pk players for possible good drops. Some descriptions are short and simple, others are more detailed. Also, some of you might know most of these places, and some may not. Anyways, I'm just trying to make my first contribution to the forums ;)
In no paticular order:
(note that the ape guild map is accessible from the portal west of ape city).
- Ape guild map (top side of map)
- Ape guild map (left side of map before the bridge)
- Ape guild map (directly top of the bridge)
- Ape guild map (bottom right of map; make sure you cross the bridge first - snake spawn)
- Ape guild map (middle top right corner, across bridge; black ape spawn)
- Hawk cave (located east, across bridge of pheonix castle map)
- Bird island (first hawk island; teleport to this island is located south-east inside bird island city)
- Bird island (last hawk island, if you know where this island is then you should look to pk here first as it's less crowded, and the players here tend to pick up stuff more often then not)
- Lab (lab 1 - any place where archers are killing big spawns, sometimes warriors drop good stuff)
- Mine caves (usually pheonix mine cave pays the most if your lucky, but any mine cave is good, again, if your lucky. Just make sure your not red/black name or blinking blue when killing miners because they usually have cotobo 97% of the time, and will log off auto-matically when get near them)
- Mystic Castle (this is a double edge sword. it's good because most high lvl players are here and they usually bot to up their lvl, which means they are afk and easy to kill. what makes it sweeter is that they almost always drop some good stuff when you kill them. but you can easily get kos'ed by the high lvl player so becareful, but if you don't care, then by all means make this your highest priority)
One time i killed a player in mystic castle and he dropped a db :p (btw, you can get to this place from the conductress inside desert city)
- Phoenix castle map (goto the bottom right of this map, and make sure you cross the bridge first. You will end up in the location with 2 NPC's, one will let you enter pheonix mine, and the other, which is just a few screens above it, is an NPC for the mouse hunt quest. If you hide in the corner or under a tree or where ever people can see you less easily near this NPC, you will eventually come across a player who is going to do the mouse hunt quest, and you can know if they are doing the quest by seeing that they go near this NPC 1 or more times. If they do, then thats your queue to kill them! because the player will carry gems with them to do this quest, your practically guarenteed to get some if you kill them)
- Phoenix castle map (goto the bottom of this map, across the bridge, but this time dont go right, instead, put on cotobo, and set it to locate all players, and then head left staying near the middle. actually, you can do 2 things before you head left. you can either wait till you see the message "ganoderma has appeared in the forest" then head left or you can just do it with out waiting and hope for the best. anyways, your basically going to look for a player who is killing or waiting to kill the monster ganoderma. and hopefully try and get EXP pots from them if they drop it. EXP pots are worth an average of 2mil)
- Ape city map (First, this is not the Ape guild map, so dont get it confused. anyways, goto the top-west island of this map, across 3 bridges if your starting point is ape city. You will see alot of snake monsters. basically, your going to do the same thing as the pheonix castle map i mentioned above, but this time your looking for the message "titan has appeared in the canyon", and your going to search for players near the north-west of the island, and also the south-east (near the middle) of the island)
- Phoenix city (inside the city is an NPC who puts gems inside your items, his name is artisan cloud and he's located near the south-east of the warehouse man. basically, players come here with sometimes good gems to socet, and its a great place to pk them with a player that can one hit them, and a noob who is ready to pick anything that drops. judging whether or not a player is actually soceting an item with a gem is based on luck and/or experience)
- Desert city guild map 1? (i'm not sure what this map is called, but you can goto it by using the portal north-west of the desert city map. Once inside the map, goto the bottom right for a monster spawn where players usually hunt, and you can kill them for good loot)
Anyways, that's all the good pk places I know to pick up some good loot. Usually, any monster spawn or any place where an archer is hunting is a good place to kill the player and recieve some nice items. It's also good if you can kill most players in 1-3 hits (more or less). By the way, if you guys want to contribute any places you know that are not mentioned by me, then by all means do so :)
