[J(apanese)SRO]How to play/register!

Before saying "Oh no, we don't want goldbots there too!!" or anything like that, I don't care. :)

How To Connect (using a VPN)

1. Download the PacketiX VPN Client here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

2. Install it.

3. Open it.

4. Right-click in the lower section (where it says "Virtual Network Adapter Name").

5. Choose "Create Virtual Network Adapter".

6. Enter "jSRO" (without double quotes) and press Enter/Return/OK.

7. Download the MobileFree.JP VPN Configuration file here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

8. Open it.

9. Go back to PacketiX and double-click MobileFree.jp

10. You can now connect to the jSRO website and (game) servers!!


How To Register

1. Make sure you are connected to the MobileFree.jp VPN (using PacketiX).

2. Go here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

3. Enter your email address in the textbox.

4. Two possibilities:
-You get an email containing a link/URL (under "[会員登録フォームURL]"), click it and continue to step 5.
or
-You get an error and you don't receive an email. Try [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] guide and start again from step 2. *

5. Check the only checkbox (on the right of "上記「利用規約」に同意する").

6. Click the large green button.

7. Enter your account details:

-ID/Nickname/Username
-Password
-Password again
-Birthdate (Year/Month/Day), I didn't use my real one, use something that is atleast above 16 years old.
-Male (first) or Female (second)
-State, select something random
-Occupation/Job, select something random
-Newsletter (first) or No Newsletter (second)
-Secret code/PIN, enter 6 NUMBERS, remember them/write them down
-Enter the 5 numbers from the captcha image

8. Click the large red button.

9.1. If everything is right, press the red button.
9.2. If you entered something wrong, press the blue button and restart from step 7.

10. Your account has been created!!

11. If you used the alternative (*) VPN in step 4, disconnect from it.


How To Patch To English

1. Make sure that jSRO is updated to the last version.

2. Download this: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

3. Extract it to the jSRO folder.

4. Press Yes when it asks to overwrite.

5. Voila, your game has been patched to English!!


How To Login

1. Select your server (I'm on OASIS).

2. Enter your ID/Nickname/Username and Password.

3. Click Confirm.

4. When it says "Press Cancel. Have fun playing jSRO :)", press Cancel xP

5. Create a character, you can use the Latin Alphabet (English) or the Japanese Alphabet, they won't ban you for that.


How To Download & Install

1. Disconnect from the VPN by right-clicking MobileFree.jp and clicking Disconnect (All).

2. Download this (I recommend using DownThemAll!): [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

3. Do this when you already installed another version of Silkroad:
Rename the folder of the last installed Silkroad to prevent it from being overwrited.

4. Double-click the file you downloaded.

5. Click the button at the left.

6. Click the button at the left again.

7. Let it install and click the button in the 'message box' when it's done.

8. Connect to the VPN again by right-clicking MobileFree.jp and clicking Connect.

9. Start jSRO and let it update.

10. jSRO has been installed!!


What's so special about jSRO??!

A lot:

-Servers always easy or populated :)
-No scammers
-Level up gifts including: SoS weapons, 7 day gold ticket, grab pet, 100% movement scrolls (some kind of speed drugs), experience scrolls, ...
-Battle Arena
-Capture The Flag
-Alexandria
-A lot of events (3 atm at So-Ok).
-Japanese people often understand english and are very nice.
-Full stat point reset item (Item Mall)
-Magic Cubes, no idea what they are xD (Item Mall)
-And a lot more for you to discover!!

1. Well, at the moment, there aren't many English speaking people there who are NOT from Japan.
But that doesn't make it worse 'cause most Japanese people I contacted knew English.

3. The normal Latin (English) alphabet is fine, I saw some Japanese people using English names.
