Warning for botters

So looks they they banned me. No biggie, I was only level 65. Gonna change my IP and start over but just a warning for players:

Although this game has no cheat protection whatsoever, the GM's do their job in this game. They're very active. Constantly botting in public will get you banned. Someguy caught me botting and said he was 'taking a video' and will ban me. 2 Days later, banned.

So if you're botting publicly, be very careful. I'd completely avoid botting in public, just instances.

How could he tell if you were botting?

Use CheatEngine to get the adress for the chat, the beginning of the last message will look like this

[image=500] = Nearby
[image=503] = Whisper

Make your Bot trigger a sound whenever this string appears, so you're safe against people whispering or talking near you, or make a new window appear to the front with the content of the message.

Well bots obviously have obvious patterns, not to mention I didn't respond when he talked to me. He claimed to have banned over 15 people and that I was next for sure. I took it as a bluff, like I would in most mmoprgs cause the GM's never do anything (LOL aika, bot infestation)

what instance should i bot at lvl 70 then?

well -- as far as i know a botter is only tempbanned for 3 days ;)

What server are you in? i want to see if this guy is in my server.

saw a thread where one was accused of botting -- and he was off for about 3 days

did you guys get an email on why you been banned cause i got my account banned and wanted to know if its perm or not.

If you didn't get an E-MAIL, then you probably got manually banned. I didn't get one when I got manually banned.

When I got auto-banned for using proxy, I received an E-MAIL.

By the way, any idea how you got banned? Were you botting in public? Multi-clienting?

You could always submit a ticket and ask them why you got banned

i was killing tree mobs in angkor enchampment and i think my bro said i got dced from a gm. So im thinking it was a manually ban
