scamming with a +1ring

Yesterday a guy offered me a +1 ring in the market area for a low price, being the idiot that i am i went for the bate... :D

He dragged a +1 normal ring in the trade sceen and i put in my money, he presses ok and i double check the ring (still+1). I accept and i notice ive just traded a few mil for a stupid ring (not +1)

I wonder how it is possible since he didn't share no files with me (wich is needed to scam with hex editor or other programs like that), and isn't most of these scams to do such a thing client sided? so how i that possible?

If theres a program share it with me lol, i'll make it worth ur while :bandit:

P.s i double checked if it was +1 so i didnt fell for the old switch scam.

My problem is not that he got scammed, surley there exist an scam like that and it must sux to get scammed that way.

Man if he wants to know how to do it, Go studdy Hex ,then Packet edditing then cracking every file in the CO map checking diffrent files that have items included, Memory editting and check how Conquer reacts when you do this and that.

Why is it that only people with very few posts are reporting this problem? Um, if there was an exploit, I doubt they would release it or even make the concept public. It would get patched, and they stop making money.

have u guys ever thought that just maybe half of the stuff u dl is fixed so its easier to scam u. kinda like ur items.dat or monster.dat. it is possible for u to download a fixed 1 and someone takes advangtage of it.
