How To Make Accounts In SQL For Dummies

This video was requested by Shaiyasux. He asked how to make accounts in SQL and I was happy to help. Please note the passwords aren't really that, ive changed them for my friend's safety. And the account I made was an GM account. Also note that everytime I make a video it says "for Dummies".


To make normal accounts go to UserMaster, and set Admin False, AdminLevel 0, Status 0, and Usertype N.

hellow. nice tut:-) but i can't see how to make a gs account. and how/what to give gs in the status. i don't want any gs to know all (all codes are out there if yoiu just google it :-). but mabe give gs some codes? is there a tut on what status 0-16 does?

and are you making gs a N accont in usertype?

also you have adminlevel. could this change stuff? only i know is 0 and 255. what are other ppl doing for there gs accounts?

some is running special quests/events and so on that i have seen. just want to know what's the best to give a gs..

I am not write anything in GameAccountTBL . And everythins working This step is really required ?

I always get this error when i try to open database

The database OMG_GameWEB is not accessible. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Express.ObjectExplorer)

Because you are using a log in information without the rights to access databases. Create a user with all the rights and then try again.

Also remember to create the account under PS_UserData.dbo.Users_Master as OMG_GameWEB is not needed

this statement is true on SOME servers... some still use the check login proc that dose requier the omg gamewebs tabel also a simple way to test if you requier this tabel is creat an account in users master only and atempt to log in if it errors account dosent exist then creat the account in omggamewebs and test again if it suceds to login after omggamewebs entry then you are one of the few servers still requiering the omggamewebs tabel for accounts along with usersmaster.
