Socket Drops

i just thought it would help if we strted a thread for where people find sockets. i think it would be helpful. and does any one know a spot where u can find a 2 soc archer coat?

finding socketed items is random just like gems all a matter of luck

You guys just sank noobdom to an all time low.

Only socketed weapons can be gotten from monster drops.

Weapons can also be socketed in Bird Island.

Non-weapon sockets are only gained by getting lucky with the TC or Market Artisian when you're upgrading items.

You can find sockets in lab bosses, but I guess if you wanna go into the details the monsters don't DIRECTLY drop the sockets, they drop a SunBox which you have to open for a chance to get a soc.

lol it's someone who asked where 2sok archer coats drop, do you really think they'll understand what lab bosses and sunboxes are. Keep it simple for the noobs, or if you're gonna get technical at least mention the moonbox quest as well.

couldnt agree more,nothing more to say, lol

if heard of 2 people who claim to have gotten sck nonweapons from nrm mob drops. i really dont believe them because both had told me that the sck items they showed me were metted up to their lvl. in my personal experiance nrm mobs dont drop scks, and thats about 3 yrs of experiance hunting with my archer

I pked an archer that had a normal +1 1 socket tao hat. He was hunting at slow apes. Not sure what that means, except i have a socket hat now ^_^

Moonboxes and AncestorBoxes don't drop from monsters lol

From my experiences you can find socket items from mobs on the fourth floor of lab. My friend found a 1 socket bag there from the monsters not the lab boss. Another one was when I was hunting a lvl 1 noob died and dropped lvl 110 boots, they were sup +3 1 sock w/sdg :) ! Best way to find a socket is hunting or spamming, sometimes spamming in market when they are high lvled "might" get you a 2 sock even though I havent got a 2 sock yet >.<! But yea, do alot of moonbox and lab hunting and eventually you should get a 2 sock or tons of 1 socks :D .

Mobs can drop non-weapon sockets ive only seen unique ones though.

Unique Soc boot from Sandelf
Unique soc troj armor from birdman

Unique soc attack ring from lab 4 boss(friend) (not box)
Unique soc attack ring from lab 3 boss(friend) (not box)
Unique soc bag from slowape(friend)

well if socks are drops its like 1 in a billion so almost impossible to predict where they will be, or more likely to be for that matter...

im almost certain they dont drop


p.s. freinds freinds suposibly got sock from sandelf too

almost had heart attack when I did lol

This needs to be closed seriously..... its crap and needs to be deleted people are just going to keep making out there rich by getting socket drops from ''sand elfs'' :rolleyes:
