question on db's

i was given two database one with new items and the other has some nice pets which i want to use i was told i can merg database but i was not explained how to merge them could someone explain to me how i can do this please ??? i will be great full.

i do not think that will work.... i have two separate complete database. one has a bit more English translation and added pets some of the cq_actions are English but some are not, but the other has things added that first database dose not have including items if i copy past the dbs together it will over write the other.. what i am wishing to do is take two separate database from two different places like my friend vps and my vps and merge them two dbs from those two different places she sent me her files so it is on my vps but as i said if i copy past it in to my files it will over write it... so what we want to do is merge them so it becomes one database...

then literally take the time to put both databases in excel. copy the part from the second you want to put in the first. Renumber them to cause no issues then add them. Otherwise Merget hem both and just re-translate. Your choice on which one to do that will cause you less work

i have no idea how to use excel =/ and i don't have the money to buy it either...

excuse me DEADP00L how do i tell what is what if its all Chinese? some of the actions are english but most of it is chinese how do i tell the level cap? pets skills ect? in actions and tasks?

am i supposed to use sql dump? or the actual files from the dbs? if its the actuall files er i still dont understand how to do what you was saying.

On topic: Well use Type and data to guide.. like if you see a number in DATA longer than 4 digits, its a item, just to make sure, find it in AllItem List.

how would i go about to higher the level cap? because the dbs i have to merge have lower level cap then many server files i have seen around.

cq_config id = 10 data1 = the level you want. then cq_levelexp to add the correct values for the rest of the levels
example:

INSERT INTO `cq_levexp` VALUES ('2999', '1', '0999', '18666666666', '1866666666', '35800', '19320', '5', '193200', '19', '28476000', '19', '8216', '5', '100', '12600', '0', '100', '0');


err that is how it would look in query its like this if you use navicat.
