BotJail

emm ... can any one explain me how TQ is botjailing botters ?
some one just told me they r cheking files and bla bla bla of each players ... but idc .:confused:
well some one else said videotaping is the only way so they caught players !o.o
does that mean if sm1 hide some where and used fog lvler .... and dsnt get caught or taped : he wont get botjailed ?

I'm not very current with my anti bot knowledge but from what i've heard..


Tq checks server.dat modification date, conquer.exe md5hash (so if it's a diff exe/rebuilt it will show aka multiclients). They sometimes patrol ingame and bot jail those reported, sending invalid packets can get you auto jailed, they have vidsters that record/report hackers, they also have some more auto pprotection afaik but i don't know it's conditions and stuff sadly.


That being said, disabling their. Dll is easy (someone posted a fake one) and a simple hack like that should cary few/no risks.

Hell there is virtually no risk with MOST bots. That being said, if you are concerned about being jaied, don't bot/cheat.

Even with sending a TON of invalid packets recently, not a single test character of mine has been jailed but at the same time they are nub chars so it doesn't matter to me.

Make sure you got a client with background click checks removed first, because you get auto botjailed after 80-90 background clicks as far as I remember. And yeah, make sure no one sees you, a good place is some lower floor in the desert mine cave.

You could also go to the adventure zone :D somewhere to corners , most of people dont go there , even somewhere in bird island on the upper islands

I use ck in a secret place and I get botjail XD nothing is safe.
