Internet Connection

Can you help me on my problem?
My Internet speed is 580 Kbp/s and I'd test it on a Speed test.
And its speed is 580 Kbp/s but when I open Firefox it is very lag, it takes 15 minutes to load the home page. Can you help me?

Internetspeed is secondary depending on your Linespeed.
First of all there is the Host which holds the data, if this host is slow, there won´t be more speed.
Second, location of the host, more distance = slower.

i don´t think the problem is your connection, it will be somethng with the host, or the way to the host.
