proxy for silkroad does it hide your ip?

Does an proxy program like srproxy hide your ip or only your mac address?

You shouldn't bother with free proxies.They are a pain in the *ss.
Premium proxies always work but they do cost a bit of money.

they mostly only ban extreme 24/7 goldbots witch are not registered on joymax by the gold companys. And they will never ban silk buyers ive you dont use hacks or something like that but botting will nvm
