COPartner - Picking up all items except Gold

This may speed up your hunting/leveling
It will look less suspicious.
You may have noticed that when you set COPartner to pick up: ALL it picks up Gold included. This can slow down leveling/hunting and will look weird to other players when a lot of gold drops at once.

Well guess what, in this topic you will learn how to stop COPartner from picking up Gold.

Since I've learned COPartner works by looking for the yellow item text on the floor, why not just rename the 'Gold' to '*space*' so no text appears?

I tried it, and success!

Step 1: Get COPartner. If you don't have it you probably dont know any of what I'm talking about.

2. Download the itemtype editor: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

3. Follow instructions on the itemtype dat (Extract the files in your Conquer 2.0\ini\)

4. Open the itemtype editor

5. Search for item at the bottom left: Type in Gold (CASE-SENSITIVE)

6.Gold should be near Sycee and Silver but still don't click any of them. Make sure Gold is highlighted at the left scrolldown box. Now edit that "item"

7. Change the name to *space*

8. Click Edit Selected Item and restart COPartner

but its better to change "Gold" to "G0ld" < with a zero !

and same with Goldbar and Goldbullion !!!

i know a way to that he only use Goldbar and Goldbullion, just put a 9 in the B-settings !!

it doesnt search for the color yellow, otherwise it would pick up sycee and silver also, it searches for the name, thats why putting the space works, and thts y progr4mer suggested typing in G0ld, or gold.

But it is still a nice find because it will work

Im saying
It searches for the color yellow of THE NAME as in, The name of the item that is in yellow font color. If there is no name there is no yellow font.

Then again, if i'm wrong correct me lol but i'm almost sure this is how it works.

It searches for the NAME not the yellow font. I don't think COPartner is a pixel prog! :bandit:

This guide is mostly for learning purposes, just like all my other releases.

Also, most people didn't know that B "9" thing. I didn't know it either. I didn't bother to look it up. Why's it matter? You learn from your experiences.

Yeah, you live and you learn...it's a quote...anyways I only knew the basic outline of the b option.
