A questian about items...

I'm confused about the diff items/weapons out there, maybe someone could help me.

First off, what is a mana backsword? I mean, I know it's suppose to restore mana, but how can you tell the differnce between a mana bs and normal bs???

And second, some items say:

Damage -5%

Stuff like that, what does that mean? And why buy or use it??

You cannot tell the difference between a mana bs or a normal one.

-5% means the items reduces 5% of damage taken

-5 is -5% dmg received and you can only see if its a mana bs by using it. This also goes for psn blades

for a mana or healing bs you will see numbers above your characters head either filling up you magic or hp without using pots. when i am on my tao which has a mana bs, i never have to use pots when i am lvling or hunting.
